My little sister suggested that I do "digital origami." So this picture actually started out as a crane. I used the same techniques as I did here [link] and it became reindeer instead. Oh joyous fun! And Merry Christmas everyone!

Isn't it? I had a ton of fun making it .. I like that it isn't the normal style I do. I like this abstract stuff, or well .. anything that doesn't have to look "real" (like my portraits) .. I can do more with it and have a lot more fun. I'm not going to stop doing portraits, but it's definitely enjoyable to branch out.

Yeah, I started playing with it a little, but didn't get very far, as I was supposed to be doing other things at the time and had a picture that I started that was in my usual style...

I had so much fun with this one .. and it IS 100% original! But not as difficult as it looks. I learned some new things to do in Photoshop from a tutorial I found here on DA, and this is what happened with it. Hooray for experimenting, huh? :dance:

honestly, I just found a tutorial and played with it. It was my little sister that suggested the origami, and it just went from there. I wasn't planning on making reindeer ..
